D.I. Group is an international company specialising in software development, digital advertising and other IT products. D.I. Group established a representative office in the UK in 2018 under the management of a Representative of an Overseas Business.

Having guided the company in 2018 to enter the UK market by sending an overseas representative the company seen growth very quickly in the UK. With the average yearly turn over at more than £400,000 the Company wished to expand the operations which led to the need to employ a highly skilled worker who understands the Company and the digital products which the Company offers to its clients.

How did NIDO help D.I. Group to apply for a sponsor licence to hire a foreign skilled IT worker to work in the UK?

Unlike normal clients, D.I. Group operates in the UK under a representative office, not a UK-based company.

Understanding the situation, our team advised the Company on the different solutions alongside the most viable option which was applying for a sponsor licence.

Further, we also advised the Company on job roles in the shortage of occupation list which requires our team to comprehend the nature of business, the HR management, and the future plan of the Company in the UK.

After being instructed by D.I. Group, NIDO had been working closely with Mr F to support him in preparing the necessary documents, following requirements to maintain the sponsor licence in the future as well as the tasks needed to undertake to employ a migrant worker.

Result

After only 3 weeks, NIDO helped D.I. Group to obtain an A-rated sponsor licence which is valid for 4 years so that the Company can continue expand its business in the UK.
