The Company owns and operates supermarket stores all across the UK and as the Director of the Company had seen an opportunity to grow during these bleak economic times he needed someone to come in and take a role within the Company to allow him to continue his expansion.

Given the complexity of business structure and high volume of documents in relation to tax, accounting, and employment, T Limited had come to NIDO for help to apply for a Sponsor Licence to sponsor Mr S, a retail expert holding an MBA, alongside other Master and Undergraduate Qualifications.

How did NIDO help this company to obtain the Sponsor Licence?

Having informed the Company of the documents and information which we needed to make a successful application we carried out a thorough assessment.

Our team at NIDO thereafter informed the Company of its responsibilities and the rules that they would have to abide by in order to obtain a licence and employ a worker from outside of the UK.

Our team worked closely with the Company to prepare the documents, answer the Company’s enquiries during the preparation process, and review the documents, especially those regarding HRMC and the Employees.

NIDO also liaised with the Company’s Accountants to ensure that the information was in order for the Home Office’s requirements.

As part of the assessment which was due to be carried out by the Home Office, we were aware that the Company would need to show that it can maintain the licence and ensure that the immigration rules are not being breached, we therefore guided the company from start to finish with the whole process of obtaining a licence for the new employee who was from India that they wanted to employ.

Result – A-Rated sponsor

After filing the application, it took only 2 months from the time when T Limited instructed NIDO, our team successfully help the company to obtain an A rating sponsor licence which is valid for 4 years, 1 month earlier than the client’s expectation.
