Mrs H.U a Turkish national in the UK as a Turkish Businessperson instructed NIDO to assist her with her Indefinite Leave to Remain Application after having completed her 5 year residence in the UK whilst operating her business.
The business which our client was operating was involved with child care and during the COVID-19 pandemic businesses like this were heavily affected so our client needed to show the Home Office that she met the rules for a grant of settlement and therefore required our expertise in this area to guide her.
How did NIDO help Mrs H.U to obtain her settlement under the ECAA route?
Following our philosophy which is listening to what our clients want first and foremost, our team realised the needs and reasons behind her situation which she found herself in in the middle of the pandemic and how her business which was operational for many years was still a viable business which should result in her being allowed to settle in the UK.
From that point, NIDO provided extensive and thorough advice to Mrs H.U which outlined and analysed the current situation, followed by clear-cut solutions and options for the Turkish Businessperson seeking settlement in the UK under the terms of the Immigration Rules Appendix ECAA Settlement.
Prior to the filing of her application we ensured that Mrs H.U met the requisite rules and the documents which needed to be provided were checked by a specialist solicitor who has dealt with many of these cases.
The application was accompanied by the relevant paperwork which enabled our client to show that she was both qualified and regulated to provide care for children, furthermore the advice which she received helped her show that even during the lockdown period the business was operation albeit remotely and that although the income was lower than projected it was nevertheless not a business which had failed.
We also provided with the application our letter which outlined the rules and how Mrs H.U met the immigration rules that applied to her.
After filing her application and booking her appointment for her biometric data to be enrolled we uploaded all of her documents and she only had to attend the Home Office with her passport and appointment confirmation.
After filing the application in September 2021 and attending her appointment in the same week she received her decision confirming that she has been granted in just under 8 weeks’ time.
Result - Successful ECAA Indefinite Leave to Remain Application
Within less than 2 months, NIDO represented and helped Mrs H.U to successfully apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain as a Turkish Businessperson and now she can settle and continue the operation of her business and seek to enter new areas to continue the growth of her business.
